OLW130 - Centred Sentiment

This week's One Layer Wednesday challenge is hosted by Susan. The challenge is to make a sentiment the star of the show by centring it on the card and not adding very much to it.

Susan thought it was a great way to use those really large sentiments that need lots of space, and she's absolutely right.  But, being the contrarian that I am (who, me?) I went in the opposite direction and chose one of my smallest sentiments.

(Here's a previous, more CAS version - I can't decide which one I like better - what do you think?)

  1. Simply brilliant! Can't decide which I prefer either. Both have the WOW factor.

  2. I like them both but the bottom one, with just the one sentiment, is more compelling to me. So clean and mod!

  3. So clean and well designed Ardyth! Love both!

  4. You are such a girl after my own heart ... absolutely LOVE the contrarian in you! Hmm, decisions, decisions, I'm gonna have to go with door #2 on this one. It's very to the "point"!

  5. Oh, I love the three in a row! Mainly because I wouldn't be able to stamp three in a row that looked like three in a straight row!

  6. Love them both.. but the three in a row is my favorite. Just love the little spots of color.

  7. I think I like the minimalist version the best although me being me, I'd want to add to it! You're always so good at thinking outside the box!

  8. I really can't pick a favorite! I love the striking simplicity of the single image but I also love the combination of the three colors of the other card! Both are swell!

The Thank you card is so totally fabulously Ardyth! Only you would think to put the bling between the dots to achieve a gasping response from your viewers! Perfection!

  9. I like the set of 3. The colors are interesting. With only one, it looks like a bullseye, especially in red! Of course, you might want it to looks like a bullseye?

  10. I prefer the triple sentiment with it's added color but then I like things in threes.

  11. What a cute stamp. I like the three in a row because the eye is lead along the row.

  14. Both so stunning, Ardyth, if I had to pick a favourite I would choose them both (being the contrarian I am!) Anita :)

  15. I actually like the 2nd one better! It is so simple, but it really has your eyes go straight to the center and see the message on the card.
